This "telexample" or televised interview consists of excerpts from two interviews between a psychiatrist and a schizophrenic patient. The patient shown in these excerpts is an acutely disturbed young male who expresses extreme anger and suspiciousness both verbally and physically. In the first segment, he describes suicide attempts and his confused feelings about his behavior. In the second interview, the patient admits that he might be mentally ill, but states that "everyone is mentally ill to some degree."
